My Birthday this year was simple and quite - which was not my first intentions. Originally, I wanted to do something a little bigger than just a BBQ or a night out at a lounge. However, as most things, plans didn't fall through, and I'm ok with that. Sure, turning 25 was kinda of a big deal for me but the relaxing day I spent with Jorge was one of my best birthdays. He took me around Philadelphia, enjoying the beautiful day and instead getting me a birthday cake, I was treated to birthday ice scream! (That doesn't make me sound 5 years old). Overall, I have a wonderful 25th birthday. Thank you, Love.

happy birthday to the august babies
So this week was a little crazy, me being super busy at work made me look forward to this weekend more than ever. It was also three of my good friends birthdays, a shout out to Jasmine, Nelson and Yesi! Love you guys! In celebration of their birthdays we meet up at Teak, where there had to be about 20 people there that were in our group! There were my friends, my cousin's friends, Jasmine's friends and then Mindy's group of friends that showed; it was insane, but awesome! Now that summer is coming to an end, I want to party more than ever... just a few more weeks left :(

happy birthday bunny
I should have posted this up sooner, but I am in the process of learning about studio lighting. I was able to get my rabbit to stay still for a minute to get these quick shots of her. Isn't she beautiful? Her name is Bunny, I know very creative, and she's a lion-head breed. December marked her 5th birthday; I don't know her exact birthday, but I count it from the day I got her, December 20th.
Bunny was a Christmas gift from Jorge, when we had gotten our first apartment I had constantly bugged him how I wanted a rabbit. He kept telling me that our apartment wasn't rabbit certified? Now he was just making things up! I bugged him for a whole year, then finally a week before Christmas, Jorge had me open one gift early... it was a rabbit cage set; my eyes lit up. I knew there had to be a rabbit somewhere in the apartment, why would he give me a rabbit cage? He played it off that every year he will gift me the necessity to care for a rabbit, I rolled my eyes and started looking for my newest pet.
After a while for searching, I was upset; maybe Jorge wasn't joking... Then I heard scratching noises coming from between the side table and my sofa. I lift the table cloth and there she was! She was in her box standing on her hind legs and her ears perked up. I screamed with joy which startled my Bunny. I picked her up immediately to greet her; she was the darnest, cutest, tiniest rabbit I have ever seen! From then on, it was always the three of us. It was the beginning of my little family.

my pooky's birthday
My brother just turned 11 yesterday; I can't believe how fast time flies. I feel like it was just yesterday when I first saw him. He was so small, so fragile and beautiful. He had a scent to him that I was addicted to, that baby scent. I watch him from the wee little baby, to his first steps, his first words, his cute little laughs, his cries, his first day of school, to his first crush. I continue to watch him grow and I get sadder every time. Pretty soon my hugs will be too embarrassing for him, he won't come to me just to be next to me; my Pooky is growing up. I tell him no matter how old is gets, he will always be my baby. I hope he knows how much I love him. I can't imagine when it's time for me to have kids of my own. That's why I want to capture every moment.
