happy birthday bunny

I should have posted this up sooner, but I am in the process of learning about studio lighting. I was able to get my rabbit to stay still for a minute to get these quick shots of her. Isn't she beautiful? Her name is Bunny, I know very creative, and she's a lion-head breed. December marked her 5th birthday; I don't know her exact birthday, but I count it from the day I got her, December 20th.

Bunny was a Christmas gift from Jorge, when we had gotten our first apartment I had constantly bugged him how I wanted a rabbit. He kept telling me that our apartment wasn't rabbit certified? Now he was just making things up! I bugged him for a whole year, then finally a week before Christmas, Jorge had me open one gift early... it was a rabbit cage set; my eyes lit up. I knew there had to be a rabbit somewhere in the apartment, why would he give me a rabbit cage? He played it off that every year he will gift me the necessity to care for a rabbit, I rolled my eyes and started looking for my newest pet.

After a while for searching, I was upset; maybe Jorge wasn't joking... Then I heard scratching noises coming from between the side table and my sofa. I lift the table cloth and there she was! She was in her box standing on her hind legs and her ears perked up. I screamed with joy which startled my Bunny. I picked her up immediately to greet her; she was the darnest, cutest, tiniest rabbit I have ever seen! From then on, it was always the three of us. It was the beginning of my little family.
