A lot of the times when I'm out with my friends, I'm the person taking the pictures. I take about hundreds of photos of everyone else, but then there is only maybe a hand full with me? Now that comment made me sound self-centered! I'm definitely not. But there are times when I would like to be captured in those memories as well. It's hard to ask someone to take a picture with my beast of a camera - they do not have a clue what they are doing. I guess it's the pro and cons that come with being a single photographer among the group?
Thankfully, my wonderful fiance is my personal photographer. Whenever I want a new photo or have a new idea, he lends me a bit of his time and becomes the photographer. He may not know what he is doing most of the time, however he knows enough to take a picture (even if I have to set up the settings, haha). Thanks to him, I was able to get a nice self portrait of myself. I've been really stressed lately between work, school, and other things that I felt I looked like a bum now-a-days. So last Friday, I got dolled up, set up my mini studio and got the camera rolling. This is one of my favorite pictures that Jorge got of me. So vogue! Haha

so bare...
I've always wanted to take a nude photo, but there are a two factors. One, I'm not comfortable being naked in front of anyone and two, what would I do with it? I like subtle nude photos, ones that don't show the body completely or the face. This picture my sister took for me, setting it up was a pain but we finally nailed it. I took this picture mainly for valentines day. Also one of my New Year's resolution is to be more creative with my pictures and here's the first one for this year...

almost pre-teen
My brother's birthday passed two weeks ago, he turned 11 years old; in one more year he will mark his pre-teen years. I realized how handsome my brother is becoming, he's always been a cute baby, but now he's maturing into a little man. Just the other day, he got out of the shower with his hand playing with his messy hair and towel around his waste. I stopped to look at him and laugh; look at him being so macho. He doesn't realize it himself but he's changing. We use to carry him out from the shower, wrapped up in a towel like a fuzz ball... ah, how time flies. To record his growth spurt I decided to take a portrait photo, so every year we can compare how fast he is growing. I don't know if this will be fun to look out or plain out depressing? Lol.

diana & carolina
I've been wanting to take pictures in the snow, but since it's been really cold this year and we've gotten snow almost every week, no one was willing. Thankfully, two of my beautiful girlfriends were willing to have a small photo session outside, Diana and Carolina. With the winds and cold weather, these girls sucked it up and modeled beautifully.

my life sized doll
Sometimes I feel bad for my sister, because she is my personal life sized doll. Whenever I learn a new style in makeup or have a new camera lens, she is the first person I call down to play with. She may groan and pout, but I know deep down inside she likes it. It's our time to bond. I love her =)
