healing & weddings

Let's start off with a good note, my eyes are much better from a few days ago. I saw my eye doctor, aka Ed Norton look-a-like, on Monday. After staring at my hot eye doctor, I started to pay attention to what he was saying which was by Friday I can start wearing contacts again. Haha, yes, that's all I picked up. He did mention that the bacteria in my eye is gone, so now there is just the healing process from my eye being eaten! Ha, well that's being a little dramatic, but it's the same as having a bacteria infection in the lining of my eyeball. Now, I'm back with contacts and it feels good not to have to wear my glasses; they cause me all sorts of headaches.

Ah, so I'm jumping off topic today because I have my final and complete look for my bridesmaids. Oh, yeah... haha I forgot to mention previously, I'm getting married! Not anytime soon though, the date is November 19th of 2011. We moved it from May to November for numerous reasons. But here is the final look for my bridesmaids...

The bridesmaids dress - note: the hanging sash in the front will be tide in the back
instead of the front, trust me, it look better that way.

Now if you haven't guess the theme of my wedding already, it's a masquerade theme. A lot of people ask me why I chose a theme such as that? And my answer is, "because I want to." It's my wedding so I think it's only fair that I have it the way I want it. Everyone has a contemporary or classic wedding, I do not want to be just another wedding. I want to leave an impression of a fun and beautiful wedding; hence why I chose my theme. All that matters is that I and my fiance loves it, which we do! I am looking forward to my big day. I love the color purple, so I chose a dark plum for the dresses; I believe the gold mask will have a great contrast with the dress... I just can't wait to see it all together! My girls are going to look lovely.
